Internet speedtest & complaints
Are you experiencing problems with your internet connection, or would you like to know how your internet connection is currently performing? Use the RAC speedtest.
The speedtest is available to every internet user. You don’t need to file a complaint to run the test.
For a reliable test
The outcome of a speedtest can be affected by factors in your own environment, such as Wi-Fi coverage, internet use by other connected devices and the type of cable you use.
For the best result, run the test with a CAT 6 cable, connected directly to the modem of your internet provider. If that is not possible, you can run the test via Wi-Fi, preferably no more than 3 meters from your provider’s modem.
Do you have a complaint?
Your provider is your first point of contact for problems with your internet connection. Always contact your provider first.
If you and your provider are unable to resolve the issue, you can file a complaint with RAC through the speedtest form.
For complaints about invoices, RAC can only mediate in exceptional cases.
