PV Installers

Mandatory certification

Based on the policy regarding small-scale, non-commercial, and sustainable energy generation, a set of requirements and regulations applies to the installation and connection of PV systems to the public grid in Curaçao.

To ensure that PV systems are installed in accordance with the applicable standards and installation regulations, the policy stipulates, among other things, that installers must be personally certified. To qualify as a recognized PV installer, the installer must submit a certificate issued by an accredited training institution to RAC for evaluation.

Following approval by the RAC, the certified PV installer will be included in a central register of recognized PV installers.
