The frameworks for the supervising authority and policy-based tasks for the regulation of the postal sector are legally incorporated in the National Ordinance regulating the Post 1998, (Official Gazette 2026, no. 77 (C.T.)), as well as the implementing regulations attached thereto and the Resolution for Concessions that apply to the postal company in Curaçao.

Based on this, the minister of Traffic, Transportation and Environmental Planning supervises the postal provisions for quality and price of the assigned postal services to the concession holder.

The minister of Traffic, Transportation and Environmental Planning receives support and advice from RAC for the supervision tasks based on article 5 of the National Ordinance Bureau Telecommunicatie & Post (Official Gazette 2006, no. 69).
