Tariff guideline small-scale sustainable energy
In addition to the policy for small-scale sustainable energy, implementation regulations on tariff guidelines have been established for the tariffs of retro-delivery of energy sustainably generated. These implementation regulations and tariff guidelines determine the points of departure for the retro-delivery of electricity from small-scale production units and how these are to be applied.
The most significant point of departure is the establishment of a reasonable tariff for retro-delivery for the producer and for the network company. This implies a tariff which leads to a reasonable period to achieve a return on the investment for the producer and does not entail unreasonable costs for the network company.
Tariffs for retro-delivery are established reasonably in accordance with the following criteria:
- The tariff for retro-delivery must at least enable coverage of the cost price of the produced energy for the applicant within a reasonable period to achieve a return on the investment
- The tariff for retro-delivery must be in reasonable proportion to, or may not exceed the purchase price of the energy sources on which the saving is achieved
- The determined tariff for retro-delivery must take into account the financial consequences for the network company, inter alia the costs for maintaining of the network connection and the network itself
- Other applicable economic – and environmental considerations must have been sufficiently counted in the weighing of the establishment of the tariff for retro-delivery
